1. Data controller

2. What data we process

• Booking form: name, phone number, email address, vehicle registration number, selected services and any description you provide.
• Technical data: the server logs of our hosting provider may contain your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to enquiries and arranging a workshop appointment – GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering into a contract).
• Operating and securing the website – GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).

We do not use your data for marketing and we do not sell it.

4. Processors and third parties

• Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and receives form submissions on our behalf. This may involve transfers to the USA under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Google Maps: the map in the footer loads only if you accept it in the banner or click “Show map”. Your IP address is then transferred to Google, which may set cookies. See Google's privacy policy.

5. Retention period

Form enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any resulting appointment, and are deleted afterwards unless legal obligations require longer retention.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing. Contact us at kontor@abcbilas.no. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Cookies

The website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Your theme choice (light/dark) and consent decision are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us. Google cookies may be set only once you choose to load the map.
